Some pics and video of our initial test runs of our 1996 Viper GTS Twin Turbo at Rockingham, NC.  Thanks to Underground Racing for letting us get in on their track rental for test and tuning.  The car was certainly a handful!  We were only able to get in half a dozen or so decent runs at low boost before the track got coated with pollen.  Yes pollen.  Anything over 15 psi or so and we couldn’t get a clean run, mainly due to our amateur driving and lack of slicks, not to mention not enough cage and no chute.  Best pass of the day was 9.02 @165 MPH on low boost – pump gas, DOT tire, walking it out of the hole.  Similar builds have proven the car should easily be capable of low 8s with some more seat time, slicks, safety equipment, and the boost turned up!  More to come!
