Our most outrageous project to date is this 1996 Dodge Viper GTS. A fully built 510 cubic inch stroker built by Proline in GA. JM stage 3 CNC ported heads. A custom twin 78MM Precision twin turbo and intercooler system fabricated by Underground Racing in NC. (Big thanks to Underground for the initial build and test and tune trip to the track!) AEM Engine management. G-Force T-56, Quaife Dana 44, Mark Williams driveline. This monster put down 1483 REAR WHEEL HORSEPOWER on C16, not to mention 1221 RWHP on pump gas with methanol. During trial tuning we ran 9.02 at 165 MPH on low boost of around 15psi – probably around 1000 RWHP, on pump gas, DOT tires, and easing it out of the hole as you can see in the video. Similar builds have run high 7s and low 8s, and we expect the same once we finish the safety equipment and get some seat time.
